Sukkar Nabat
Sukkar Nabat is inspired by the character of the traditional Emirati home, reinterpreted through a contemporary design approach. The interior combines textured gypsum walls, rich red Persian carpets, black-and-white archival photography, and subtle gold accents to create a warm and culturally grounded atmosphere. Traditional elements such as the Majlis are integrated within a modern spatial language, resulting in a home that balances heritage, comfort, and refined contemporary living.
The material direction for Sukkar Nabat draws from Emirati heritage through a warm and tactile palette of lime plaster, natural wood, terracotta, Persian carpets, brass accents, and layered textiles. Soft earthy tones such as creamy beige, honey, and terracotta create a welcoming and grounded atmosphere, while traditional details are reinterpreted in a refined contemporary way to maintain a strong sense of place and identity.
